Grain & Leaf.
Wine, spirits, and cigars in Ogletree Village. Bourbon-forward shelves, a small but smart wine wall, and a humidor up front. The Auburn council just approved the lounge license, so the second act is a sit-and-sip room next door.
What we do
Bourbon & Whiskey
RetailSmall-batch bourbons, single barrels, ryes, and the everyday rail. Bernheim wheat whiskey, Cooper's Craft, High West tasting features. If you want a recommendation for a gift or a Saturday pour, ask at the counter. The staff actually drinks this stuff.
Wine Wall
RetailA focused wine wall covering the everyday weeknight bottle through cellar-worthy reds. Skewed toward Old World plus Napa and the Pacific Northwest. Selections rotate, so ask what just landed.
Cigar Humidor

Grain & Leaf
Grain & Leaf is the Auburn bottle shop at 2301 Ogletree Village Lane, five minutes from campus and a left turn off South College. The shelves lean hard into bourbon and whiskey, with a working wine wall, a beer cooler in back, and a humidor of curated cigars at the front of the store. The room is small enough that the staff can actually walk you through what landed this week, what is drinking well right now, and what to grab for a Tuesday vs a Saturday vs a gift.
On December 16, 2025 the Auburn city council approved a lounge retail liquor license for the Ogletree Village location. That clears the way for a sit-and-sip / cigar lounge component next to the retail floor. Watch their Instagram @grainandleafbottleshop for the lounge opening announcement and the bourbon tasting nights they run with their Lake Martin sister store.
What people are saying.
Wandered in looking for a Father's Day bourbon and walked out with a bottle I would never have picked off the shelf myself. Whoever was behind the counter actually listens to what you say you like and steers you somewhere better.
Picked up a bottle of red on the way to a dinner party and they handed me two options for the same money plus one sentence each on the difference. That is the kind of wine shopping I wish every place did.
First time buying a real cigar and they walked me through the humidor without making me feel dumb about it. Ended up with a Padron and a small bourbon and an actual decent Saturday.
