Custom Tile Works is a tile installation shop based in Auburn, Alabama, run by Jason Farr. The work is bathroom remodels, shower builds, kitchen backsplashes, and floor tile in ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone. Most jobs are residential remodels around Auburn and Opelika.
Every install starts with the substrate done right: backer board, waterproofing in wet areas, level floors, square corners. Then the tile, cut and laid by the same person who quoted the job. Subway, herringbone, chevron, large-format calacatta, mosaic shower floors, niches, benches, schluter trim where it belongs. Jason did our master shower from scratch. Calacatta walls, marble bench, hex floor, the works. He showed up when he said and the lines are dead straight. Took longer to pick the tile than to install it.
Had a herringbone backsplash with a tricky angle around the range hood. He cut every piece on site and it looks like it came that way from the factory. Will have him back for the guest bath.
Old shower pan was leaking down into the kitchen. He tore the whole thing out, redid the waterproofing, and built it back better than the original. No more drips, two years later.
